I believe most places keep theirs between 80-100?...

I'm working with my local pool supply store to get more information about what test kits work best for float tank solutions. Currently, we employ BaquaSpa test strips, Taylor ph and alkalinity liquid kits, and a BaquaSpa liquid kit utilizing ...

Our h2o2 ppm test strip readings have been low, between 3-10 (used to be between 30-80), despite dumping in more than a few cups of 35% in at a time (from a new batch). There have been lots of bubbles tho. So I'm thinking the quality of the h2o2 we'r...

The pH was low in my tanks, so I have tried to raise it with soda ash (sodium carbonate). After putting in rather more than I expected (13 Tbsp so far) the pH has edged up just enough, but my total alkalinity is now through the room (300+). Pool guid...

We have a tank with too much H2O2 in it.
Do we need to drain, or is there a way to break down the H2O2 quickly?
I haven't visited the tank, but here's the info I have:
Test strips show 15ppm of peroxide
2 gallons of 35% were recently added
Wat...

Funny, I have these nice QuantoFix hydrogen peroxide test strips, and I don't know what number I want it to read :) looks like the scale goes between 1 and 100, with color readings at 1, 3, 10, 30, and 100
Anybuddy know?...

I'm interested in learning what is known.
Someone on the yahoo group wrote that when you get ph bounce that's difficult to control, it is time. If that is the case it would be helpful to know why the ph wouldn't remain stable.
I don't see it discus...
