Hey Everyone,

I'm wondering where/how everyone stores their salt bags. I ask because the storage room at the space I'm looking at is also the same room where the electrical box and all the wiring is. I imagine all the salt dust flying around would corrode the wiring? Do the salt bags need to have some air circulation or can I get a cabinet type deal to store them?

Generally, you will want your Epsom salt stored in a dry environment, and away from direct sunlight. Salt will absorb any moisture and humidity in the air, but fortunately, they will not grow rancid. The worse that would happen is that they clump up as they absorb moisture.Epsom salt crystals are usually in fairly large particle form, and there is very little to worry about salt getting to your wiring and/or breakers if they come in packs. If anything, as they help dry the air in the room of humidity, it might be better for the electronics in the long run.

Cheers
