I don't think that's feasible. I'm not confident in the mail system here. Shipping costs would pretty dang high too. 

Or you could buy my used Samadhi, complete with UV in the filtration system and fancy temp controller for $3,500.

I'm prepared to spend around $1200 on a high quality filtration/ vent system. 

One of the main reasons for trying to replicate a Samadhi / Escape model was to then use of their liners which would eliminate light/drip/ seal concerns.

But i'm still just putting feelers out/ trying to put the pieces together. I don't like sinking this kind of money into something without a solid plan. 

Please feel free to correct/ chime in- im sure im missing a bunch of stuff. It looks like:

1. The shell

2. Within the shell is sounds and vibration dampeners along the top, sides, and bottom

3. Bottom has heavy duty waterbed heater

4. Over the heating pad and dampeners goes the liner

Is that correct? What else am I missing?

Glad to hear WeFloat is helping. Samadhis are constructed with ABS. It will be difficult to replicate without a thermoformer, but you could panel a frame with it easy enough. Escape pods are made with stainless steel and similarly would be difficult to replicate without a metal break, but likewise could be paneled over with sheeting for a similar look. About filtration, I build filtration systems and have to warn you that a good one is not cheap. Mine are high end and run about $1200 just for parts. I think you could get away with about $600 but it will not be nearly as easy to maintain. There really is quite a bit to know to build a floatation tank that is structurally sound and light/drip proof. You might want to go the route of purchasing one of the DIY plans that are available online, but they will not look like a samadhi/escape. You could also dig through the pictures here on WeFloat at others who have shared their builds to get ideas. Let us know if you have anymore questions. Please be specific so we can help better.
