Just checking to see what others are using for controllers other than a manual dial to fade in music on oasis tanks? Is there a unit that will run a pump and fade the music from the front desk? The configuration now is a stero receiver hooked to a iPod with a dial controller to fade in when the timer on the phone goes off. Thanks for any help from the community!

Hi,
I also run an Oasis tank hooked up to a Sony stereo with blue tooth and iPad, what i did is downloaded an app ( I use Multi Timer +) that keeps the time and rings a pleasant bell sound when the time is up, the floater needs to ring a wireless doorbell on top of the tank to let me know that he/she is out, at that point I turn off the alarm, if the floater doesn't ring the door bell in a couple of minutes we start increasing the sound until he/she wakes up.
For running the pump, I bought a wall light timer at Lows that I just need to set for 15 minutes and it turns off automatically when the time runs out, this way I don't have to worry about leaving the pump on for too long and I can get on with cleaning the room for the next floater.
I hope this helps.
You can find Bluetooth outlets now that come with an app that you can easily integrate with the iPad to turn on/off the pump, but to me that is overkill to have since you have to walk int he room to clean it anyway so I just set the timer.
