Restoring Mind-Body Awareness Through Floatation

From pain to stress relief, floatation has continued to gain popularity as an unorthodox (and effective) treatment for an array of physical and mental conditions. These include everything from tangible muscular pain and fatigue to harder-to-define difficulties, such as depression.

The connection between their mind and body was stronger, more resilient to daily stresses, and functioned better.

  3. Improved day-to-day mindfulness, which caused study participants to experience events with a more practical, aware mindset.
  4. Chronic mental illnesses, including depression and anxiety, are reduced or eliminated.
  5. Less negative associations were made to daily events, and neuroticism levels in participants decreased.
